Newly Formed Partnership to Help Low Income Immigrants in the South

Durham, NC – The Southern Coalition for Social Justice (SCSJ) and the National Immigrant Bond Fund (NIBF) have formed a partnership to provide legal and bond assistance to persons arrested by local authorities and detained for removal proceedings.

Gift Fund donor Robert “Bob” Hildreth of Weston, MA, was first introduced to philanthropy in the late 1980s, when he assisted in the creation of a hospice for AIDS patients in Los Angeles, CA. After seeing the results of his efforts, Hildreth made charitable giving an essential part of his life.
