What We Do
We assist immigrants in building assets for their families. By assets we mean the financial, civic, and educational capital essential for families to prosper in the US. Our work is centered on the following causes:
- We support educational projects that facilitate and encourage educational excellence in immigrant students.
- We advocate for immigration reform and help protect the legal rights of immigrants defending their right to remain in the US.
- We underwrite research on issues and questions that emerge from our work in immigrant advocacy and education.
Our Foundation supports a number of organizations and programs in Massachusetts, as well as several programs throughout the US. For a complete list of our grantees, please click here.
Whenever we consider a new initiative or program, be it in the area of education or advocacy and legal rights, we ask that it fit the following criteria:
- require financial contributions from the immigrants participating in the program
- deliver direct services and provide help in a tangible way
- have a family-oriented approach
- address an important and current issue
